Jeffco PTA NEEDS YOU!
Articulation Area Vice-President - provide individualized assistance to local units in articulation area; communicate with local unit presidents on a regular basis
ExCEL Chair – coordinate the Extracurricular Enrichment Learning program. Maintain a current listing of enrichment resources for local units to be posted on the Jeffco PTA website
Finance Committee – assist the treasurer in the operation of his/her duties with the goal of one of the committee members becoming treasurer in 1-2 years
Health & Safety – work with Jeffco Public Schools to establish and update the nutritional policies in Jeffco
Historian Assistant – assist in updating and maintain Jeffco PTA archives
Hospitality Assistant – provide refreshments for regular meetings, fall and spring training meetings
Legislative – meet with Jeffco School Representatives and report current legislative issues to local units of legislation that effects education
Membership Team Lead – assist the 3rd Vice President for Membership and local units with membership, including training, reporting and accurate records of members
Newsletter – produce and edit the monthly electronic Jeffco Gazette
Reflections Hang Day Chair – guide volunteers in regard to placement of over 1000 entries at the county level of the Reflections program for one full day at Red Rocks Community College
Parliamentarian – act as a resource with knowledge of National, State, county and local unit bylaws; facilitate monthly board meetings
Scholarship Committee – market scholarship program to donors and applicants. Read applications and select scholarship winners
Summer/Fall Training Committee - coordinate various activities including marketing/programs/evaluations, budgeting/registration, decorations/giveaways, food/location logistics, workshop/speakers/keynote, vendors/exhibitors
