Mary Lou Anderson Grant Reflections

Criteria for Selection

Successful applicants for the Mary Lou Anderson Reflections Arts Enhancement Grants will:

* Propose a strong program design that has a clear implementation strategy. The program design should be outcomes-oriented and must enhance arts education.
* Match this grant dollar for dollar with PTA or other donated funds and/or in-kind resources. One or more letters documenting the sources and amount of the match are required. These should be uploaded with the application.
* Submit complete and well-thought-out responses to each question in the grant application.
* Demonstrate how the proposed program will further family engagement and student success.
* Commit to submitting the required grant report by the required deadline.

Special consideration will be given to applicants that reach large numbers of at-risk students. At risk encompasses a wide range of factors that may make it more difficult for a student or a segment of the student population to succeed in learning. Some factors that make students at risk are financial, familial, health, behavioral, social, and environmental or other community conditions.

Applications must be complete and submitted on time. Incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed. Consideration may be given to ensure geographic distribution of awards.
